Led by the mysterious patriarch, Lord George, and his wife, the vengeful Lady Blanche, the Portraits fragrance family is quite unlike any other.
A departure from the more traditional Penhaligon's fragrances, Portraits is a tribute to the good old English spirit: stiff upper lip, sharp wit, and a knack for provocation.
The packaging features hand-drawn artwork from talented Icelandic illustrator Kristjana Williams. Portraits perfume bottles are different, too, made with slightly heavier glass bases than the classic bottles. Each one is topped with a hand polished animal head, inspired by the family member they represent.
