Bitter Orange

Also known as Seville orange, sour orange or marmalade orange, the bitter orange citrus tree is native to Southeast Asia and now found throughout the world. The essential oil is from the orange peel of the tree's fruit, obtained through a process of cold extraction. Most commonly found in eau de colognes.
Scent Profile: The oil has a distinctive citrusy aroma, sweet and uplifting like mandarin but also bitter and bracing like grapefruit.
