Cedrus.
Cedarwood essential oil is derived from the foliage, and sometimes roots and wood, of conifer tress such as pine and cypress. The oil is extracted via steam distillation.
Scent Profile: Virginian cedar is dry, spicy, aromatic; Atlas cedar is warmer; sometimes austere and sombre note.
