Liquorice or Anise
Glycyrrhiza Glabra.
Liquorice comes from the root of the Glycyrrhiza Glabra. Once the root is harvested, the extract is produced by boiling the root and evaporating the water.
Anise or aniseed flavouring is obtained from a herbaceous plant native to the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia.
Scent Profile: Liquorice is bittersweet and combines well with leather scents. The aroma of aniseed is sweet, soft, and mild, and yet extremely powerful.
