Coconut

In modern fragrance, the scent of coconut is not derived from any coconut oil. In fact, it is usually represented by one or more accords known as lactones (from the Latine root lact, meaning milk). 

Scent Profile: Can range from milky, vanillic and light to peachy and round and slightly waxy; can also be nutty and toasted (with an almond/tonka bean facet) and buttery, like suntan lotion.
