Honey

Honey mostly exists in fragrance as an assemblage of ingredients or as an accord. Beeswax absolute can be obtained from the honeycombs of European bees and extracted with alcohol and then ethanol. Honey can also be solvent extracted to produce an intensely fragrant, ambery absolute. 

Scent Profile: Soft, warm and balsamic; woodsy, floral, herbal and sometimes tobocco-like. Ideal to partner with floral notes. But the scent (and taste) depends on the type of tree it is found on (fir, chestnut, lavender etc).
