CLASSICAL AMBER
'Dark Mouth'.
Boccanera means 'dark mouth' in Italian. Inspired by the ancient Mayan and Aztec drink Xocolatl (also known as the drink of the gods) a dark bitter chocolate, spice and chilli blend. It is chocolate in its purest form; the drink was often consumed for its rejuvenating benefits and was often used in traditional rituals. An aphrodisiac, this drink was intended to provoke bliss, stamina and energy.
This is not a dessert fragrance. It’s indulgence with restraint removed. A mouthful held too long. As it develops, woods and spice deepen the scent into something intimate and unsettling. It clings close to the body, warm and murmured rather than announced. Not edible. Not polite. Seductive in a way that feels private, deliberate, and faintly dangerous.
Orto Parisi fragrances are of a parfum strength, so last up to 24 hours on the skin. The flask-inspired bottle features a label made of Savile Row tweed paper. The cap is made from solid metal with an alchemical, antique gold finish. The cap is inlayed with white horn.
