Classical Woods
Gravitas in scent form.
Brutus is a bold and enigmatic fragrance inspired by Marcus Junius Brutus, the Roman senator known for his stoic nature, role in the assassination of Julius Caesar, and his lack of eloquence.
Orto Parisi is very deliberate with naming. The scents are about the body as history, the body as instinct, inheritance, and power. Brutus isn’t meant to charm. It’s meant to stand for something, even if that something is uncomfortable, which makes it quietly radical. In a fragrance world obsessed with seduction, Brutus smells like conviction: dry, stoic, unflinchingly woody.
Orto Parisi fragrances are of a parfum strength, so last up to 24 hours on the skin. The flask-inspired bottle features a label made of Savile Row tweed paper. The cap is made from solid metal with an alchemical, antique gold finish. The cap is inlayed with white horn.
